The vision of POWERZONE is to equip and resource local churches with a dynamic & affordable children’s curriculum that will see spiritual growth in the lives of children and their families. The beauty of the POWERZONE Curriculum is that it is written & produced in New Zealand, but has appeal in many countries worldwide because it is affordable and adaptable for use in many different environments – small and large churches – school holiday programmes – after school programmes etc.

Our Power Values

POWERZONE focuses not only on the child as an individual but also as part of a family unit and in their community. We believe when children are passionate about being at Church on a Sunday and throughout the week, families will naturally be drawn into the Church community. We desire to see whole families inspired for God through the influence of the Holy Spirit in the lives of their children. The POWERZONE curriculum comes from the Word of God and combines multimedia presentations and movies to teach the children about the bible in a fun and relevant way. Each theme covers principles that children can apply to their daily lives, helping them to be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Today’s media has programmed children not to concentrate for long periods of time; this is why each POWERZONE lesson is crafted like a Jig-Saw puzzle. Each part of the lesson is less than 8 minutes long and yet when pieced together creates a complete picture that is easy to understand and can be applied daily in their lives. A great kids programme results in changed lives = Church Growth.

The word P.O.W.E.R. makes up the 5 Core values we want to impart to the children. These are: Pray, Obey, Worship, Enjoy and Reach.

ACTS 1:8 says “But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” We believe children can live amazing lives filled with the POWER of the Holy Spirit and when empowered in this way they can be the best witnesses for Jesus. The POWERZONE motto is WHERE FUN, FAITH & FAMILY CONNECT.

We believe that Church should be the most exciting part of a child’s week, but also know that a good time is worth nothing without a relationship with a Living, Loving and Powerful Creator. Our aim is to integrate the fun and faith aspect so that children will be motivated to bring their friends for what is the highlight of their week.
